The representative survey "Studieren und Wohnen in Marburg" (Studying and Living in Marburg) conducted in spring of 2004 has shown it again:

Especially at the beginning of the winter semester and for new students, the search for suitable housing has high priority (see the link "Studie 2004”).

Therefore, the city, Student Services and the Gemeinnützige Wohnungsbaugesellschaft (a non-profit construction company) have placed this topic on the agenda of their cooperative committee.

The first result of their efforts is an online housing exchange.
